I really like this, the lighting is very believable and the form is convincing. Only crits I have is the newspaper could be a bit more "rigid" and crumply and the light source is competing with the rat's face as a visual focal point... but I am being picky... looks great overall! Keep drawing, speedpaints in Photoshop are a great way to practice lighting and value.
no no I WANT YOU TO BE PICKy..i cant stress that enough. thats how i am going to get better. yea i agree about the rigid, the newspaper was a after thought. so what do you suggest i do about the lighting?
