First painting, but really a study for an upcoming series of watercolors based on photos taken by my mom with her crazy macro lens for a joint art show. May not make the entire september challenge but I did do this in one day so I'll try and maybe I can get Doug to do a superhero painting for me (crosses fingers)! On 10x14 Arches Rough.Oh and still no scanner so i have to deal with pictures from my phone for a short time.
I love this. The colors are so vibrant and the details are so crisp. I especially like the use of oranges and yellows you've incorporated into the highlight.
