Drawings from Weekend and Today

Didn't really keep track of what days I worked on these. I'm getting lost in the abstract stuff. It's really fun and helps me think about line, shape, color, and overall composition really. But I made sure to do a little still life to stay grounded in my rendering. The last two are from today.

June Challenge

Sorry, everyone. This is a bit late, but should still be an okay challenge for the rest of this month. Just do something creative everyday for the rest of this month. Can be anything. Warm up sketches, a piece you're working on, collage, whatever. Just make sure you're doing something everyday. You can post something everyday, or post what you've done at the end of the week. Whatever you want, just get it up here.

Messin Around

I was doing a lot of looser stuff today. Experimenting, kinda getting back into some techniques from high school/early college. Kind of my version of advanced doodling, when I just need to get all that creative energy out of my system and don't have time to plan it out. Feels good. Keeping it abstract or stylized helps me think more about composition, too. After attempting a few of these and not liking them, I finally was feeling it with this one.
